These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the legal relationship between Lotus Leaf GmbH, Frobenstrasse 2, 4053 Basel (hereinafter "Restaurant") and its guests and customers (hereinafter "Guest"). They apply to all services and deliveries of the Restaurant, in particular to table reservations and consumption on site.
Table reservations made via the website, by e-mail or by telephone are only binding for the Restaurant after explicit confirmation (in writing or verbally).
The Restaurant reserves the right to request a deposit or credit card guarantee for reservations from a certain number of persons (groups).
Changes to the number of persons or cancellations must be communicated to the Restaurant as early as possible.
For group reservations (from 8 persons), the following cancellation conditions apply, unless otherwise agreed in writing:
If the Guest is delayed by more than 30 minutes without prior notification, the Restaurant reserves the right to assign the reserved table to someone else.
All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the statutory value added tax (VAT).
The Restaurant accepts cash payments in CHF, common debit and credit cards as well as Twint. Payment by invoice is only possible by prior written agreement.
The Restaurant is only liable for damages of the Guest in case of intentional or grossly negligent behaviour. The Restaurant accepts no liability for items brought in, cloakroom or valuables of the Guest, except in the case of proven fault on the part of the Restaurant or its employees.
The processing of personal data is regulated in the separate privacy policy. By using the services of the Restaurant, the Guest agrees to the processing of their data in accordance with the privacy policy.
The legal relationship between the Guest and the Restaurant is governed exclusively by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract is Basel-Stadt.
